Proposed improvement projects:

  • "Midtown Mile". This concept capitalizes on planned development to establish  a boulevard of restaurants and retail that will be a destination like Michigan Avenue in Chicago and Madison Avenue in New York.
  • "Peachtree Corridor". The Peachtree Corridor proposes to expand on the Midtown Mile concept and turn Peachtree Street into a thriving and bustling boulevard stretching from Buckhead to the Southside.
  • "Atlanta Streetcar". The Peachtree Corridor proposal includes plans for a streetcar that will transport people from Buckhead to Midtown to Downtown.
  • BeltLine. The BeltLine is one of those rare projects that has the extraordinary potential to transform the City of Atlanta. The proposal aims to combine greenspace, trails, transit, and new development along 22 miles of historic rail segments that encircle the urban core.
